7.2.2011 Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees... Like a blow to the head.

It's DJ Mitchell all day, pitching seven innings for the Yankees and getting the win, the shutout, seven strikeouts, one hit, the crown, 100 pitches, all the love in the world, and FIREWORKS AT MCCOY STADIUM. This was game one of a double header.

Brandon Duckworth started for Pawtucket, gave up three runs. After his four innings of work, Scott Atchison took over, gave up three more runs in the seventh, including a home run by catcher/slugger/sex symbol Jesus Montero.

Tommy Hottovy's back and he took over for Atchison in the seventh after the home run. And the single by Terry Tiffee, who is evidently still alive. Hottovy gave up a two-run homer to Brandon Laird.

Tony Thomas got the only hit for Pawtucket.

That's it.
